Apparently, the dA servers can't handle the picture in on piece, so I've split the thing and here goes Part two of the tutorial. .... I hope the money from overpriced 'core' will be spent on useful stuff like a server that can handle a high resolution pictures, and not new crappy logos.
Anyway: I've been commissioned to create a tutorial on drawing characters that look like the aliens from a discontinued Disney cartoon "Kid vs Kat".
Despite having this theme, the guide can actually be considered universal. It doesn't tell you how to copy the show's style, but instead it explains some of the basic principles of character construction which you can use for any original character, even if it has nothing to do with the specific TV show.
It is intended mainly for digital artists, but I tried to be considerate to traditional users as well.
In ideal case, this will help you earn more skill and freedom than you get by drawing over screenshots from the show as large number of fans does.
